The Trade Market has already been flooded with six starters. With people like our very own #SantaShu a.k.a. nWo the value of said Poke'Mon are decreasing daily. The Poke'Community for the most part is quite generous. So when the Poke'Bank opens the Trade Market will be full of starters for "cheap". Once again decreasing the value, this time with every single starter, ever.
It is essentially a waste of time for Breeders to breed weak Poke'Mon. Now that a persons reputation is much more active and important in X and Y, it promotes good behavior. Add the legitimacy checks on individual Poke'Mon and a well oiled MMO economy is created.
So who will be the top dogs in this economy? Two groups of people: Professional Breeders & Legendary Farmers.
The reason I used the word "Professional" is because these won't be your everyday run-of-the-mill Breeders. With 3,000 slots and a search system for the Poke'Bank, experienced and avid Breeders will be a veteran Battlers best asset to keep a competitive edge. There are already Poke'Mon Breeders Groups/Clubs/Guilds all over the web, but mark my words a handful of new ones will rise and old ones will be weeded. A high social class of Breeders will be created, then Poke'Mon trades will be VERY specific.
Legendary Farmers will be few and much less likely to band together with other Legendary Farmers. These are the players that have willpower and time to replay old generation games, catch the Legendary, beat the game, trade it up to the Poke'Bank for future trade, then restarts the game they just beat, repeats.
All in all it will get quite interesting indeed.
