GTS Tip
If you have #1 #3DS and both X & Y you can use the #GTS to trade between the two. You can take out all risk by following these simple steps:
1: Choose a common (Weedle, Bidoof...) low level (<15) pkmn on one game & put it in the GTS (i.e. X)
2: Put the conditions to fit the pkmn wanted in X & deposit to GTS (the more extreme the requirements the better)
3: Put in Y, search the GTS & meet the conditions using the pkmn you want in X. Press Trade

Worst case scenario someone actually meets your conditions & you lose your common
